Winemaker's Notes:

"The opaque blue/purple-colored 2001 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Seguret Grande Reserve reveals a hint of vanilla in its blockbuster bouquet of black fruits, licorice, and chocolate. Full-bodied, with excellent concentration and purity in addition to a big, broad-shouldered mouthfeel, and a long finish with silky tannin, it should drink well for 7-8 years, possibly longer. Domaine de Mourchon offers a strong case for being the finest estate from Seguret."
