Our 2006 Merlot is eager to please with luscious red and black fruit flavors balanced by an agreeable earthiness and fi ne, elegant tannins. Pooch Palate Magazine says, "You'll pour this tail-waggin'-good Merlot in your bowl again and again."
No bones about it, our Merlot is a doggone good match for spaghetti, pizza, lasagna and sharp cheeses with a little bite.
The grapes used in Dog House wines are sourced from the best of California's cool-coast growing regions. Winemaker Fritz Meier uses state-of-the-art winemaking and blending techniques to create wines that are approachable, fruit-forward and delivered with mouth-filling flavor and consistency.
A percentage of the cost of each bottle is donated to Guide Dogs for the Blind, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the visually impaired through the human-animal bond.
