The Delamotte Brut is a fine wine that is powerful but not aggressive, with an agreeable freshness, supple roundness on the palate and a clean and fruity finish. Pleasant, well-balanced, with a light golden color, this wine is mature and ready to drink immediately. The bouquet has a hint of citrus, white flowers and lemon peel. The Brut is delicious as an aperitif, and equally delightful with a fruit dessert.
"Clean and fragrant with red fruit, this wine's tart cherry and strawberry flavors integrate with the soil character, which acts as a scrim over the fruit. It feels lush within the tight confines of its structure. Built for food, this will accompany roast game birds."
Wine & Spirits
"Bright and crisp, with crunchy green apple and pear, anise, chalky mineral and lemon curd flavors that are focused by firm acidity. The finish is fresh, with a light grain to the texture. Drink now through 2016. 2,500 cases made. "
"Light gold. Ripe yellow plum and dried pear on the intensely perfumed nose, with complicating notes of white flowers and chalk. Silky, concentrated, sappy citrus and orchard fruit flavors and notes of dusty minerals, anise and honey. The tangy finish shows a refreshingly bitter quality and clings with very good spiciness and length."

A Customer - Hockley, Texas
The wine salesman for my store gave me a bottle for a New Years Gift. I had spent all day sampling Moet & Chandon and Perrier Jouet for my customers and I was pleased with their tastes. When I returned home I chill my Delamotte and proceded to try it. I was not given any information by Scott other than I think you will like it. With the first sip I could feel the smoothness yet complexity of the champagne. It went down very niceley with hints of raspberries and cherries. I enjoyed it very much and plan on buying more for those special occasions.
