The outstanding 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is produced from a vineyard situated at the corner of Highway 29 and Zinfandel Lane in Rutherford. It exhibits a dense ruby/purple color in addition to a gorgeous nose of blackberry jam intermixed with cedar and spicy new oak. Full-bodied, dense, and pure, with a layered texture and low acidity, this beefy yet voluptuously-textured Cabernet Sauvignon should drink well young, and evolve nicely for 15 years.
