Winemaker's Notes

Enticing aromas of ripe black currant, blueberry and cacao introduce this bold, yet harmonious wine. A supple and focused palate reveals round flavors of juicy blackberry, cherry and espresso. Finely knit tannins prolong the elegant, poised finish that is accented by hints of cinnamon, cedar and nutmeg.

85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 3%Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec

Critical Acclaim

"Intense, rich and savory, this full-bodied red delivers firm, spicy currant, black cherry, mineral and sage flavors that are tight and compact, yet with a push of ripe fruit at the end. This is still tannic. Best from 2011 through 2016. 9,910 cases made. "
