Pristine pale straw with almost fluorescent green tinges. Bursting fruit freshness, with invigorating, intense smells of lime skin, citrus blossom, green apple, ripe guavas and cinnamon spice. Opens with crisp and crunchy fruit flavors lime sorbet, stone-fruit , including apricot as well as classic mandarin citrus on the mid palate, developing into rich lemon meringue tart-like flavor but still with a refreshing steely minerality, balanced with racy, slate-like acidity.
Drink either immediately as an aperitif, or with almost any dish from spring salads to seriously spicy curries. With bottle age, the Wonderland of Eden Valley will open with more toast /custard aromas and flavors, softer fruits so then will be well paired with classic dishes such as soufflés and any cooked seafood.
"Quintessential Eden Valley, with fragrant lemon and lime blossom aromas, the elegant palate driven by the pure fruit promised by the bouquet; has great balance, line and length. From a single vineyard planted in the 1880s; trophy 2010 Qld Wine Show for Best One-Year-Old White.

"Bright straw. Lime zest, lemongrass and quinine on the nose. Dry, nervy and impressively precise, with zesty citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a touch of anise. Gains weight and flesh with air and finishes with excellent clarity and cling. This would be great with simply prepared shellfish dishes."
"The 2010 Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling has intense lime juice and lemongrass notes with nuances of green apple peel and crushed stones. Light to medium bodied, dry and with crisp acidity, this Riesling has a good concentration of citrusy flavors and a long zesty finish. Drink it now through 2018+."
