Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.
Charming, forward and approachable despite its youth. Ripe berries, mocha, toasted malt, incense and jasmine on the nose and palate. The sweet, high-toned nose is followed by a palate that nicely reflects the elegant refinement found year in and year out in our Cabernet.
"A wonderful display of fruit purity, with floral, plum, grapey currant and black cherry fruit that's well-focused and supported by firm tannins. Finishes with a push of blackberry and lead pencil. Rich and concentrated while remaining elegant and refined."
"The dark ruby/purple-colored, medium-bodied, stylish 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon offers sweet, loamy, earthy notes along with pure cassis, licorice, and spice box."
The Wine Advocate
"Good full ruby-red. Aromas of blackcurrant, violet, bitter chocolate, shoe polish and menthol. Juicy, slightly dry-edged flavors similar to the aromas. A bit dominated today by chocolatey oak. In a distinctly tougher style and firmly tannic today, but juicy on the back.Rating: 90(+?)"
