Winemaker's Notes:

Covey Run 2005 Semillon Ice Wine shows intense aromas of pineapple, citrus and vanilla that are balanced by a bracing acidity. The wine has a long, lingering finish.

This Semillon Ice Wine is a complete dessert in itself. It also lends itself to pairing with other desserts, preferably those less sweet than the wine. Try crème brûlée, bread pudding with apricots, cream-based pastries or fresh fruit. Also enjoy this wine with a sampling of rich, creamy cheeses such as Roquefort or Stilton.

My Notes:

About Covey Run:

Covey Run began in 1983, the year of a grape surplus in Washington State. A group of grape growers and a viticulturist hired a winemaker and produced 14,000 cases of wine which sold out. Today, Covey Run wines reach wine lovers nationwide.
