This is a mixed varietal red blend in the Italian, old world syle. It can be somewhat problematic in a tough vintage -- the different varietals not ripening at the same time. This blend includes Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Canaiolo, and others.
It is full of fruit, rich with multi-varietal complexity, deep color and character. Drink paired with food of an intense or extra robust nature; such as pasta with roasted garlic-basil-black olive sauce.
