Black Currant, tamarind, dark chocolate, Herbes de Provence and licorice aromas set the background for the full ripe berry and dark plum flavors. The medium bodied tannins provide structure and texture to the juicy, wild blackberry flavors. The finish suggests cocoa powder followed by generous measures of unctuous fruit, cinnamon and sage.

"Made from Bordeaux varieties and Syrah, this is marked by powerful fruit flavors and some degree of sophistication. It floods the mouth with extracted blackberry, cherry, currant and Canadian bacon notes, with a dash of black pepper. Drink it over the next year or two. It should be relatively easy to find, with 10,000 cases produced. "
