Winemaker's Notes:
Ruby red colour with violet hues. The flavors that typify a Cabernet Sauvignon from Maipo Valley are clearly present in the beginning, such as the fresh cassis, plums and certain cherry flavors. The complexity increases thanks to the Syrah with its leather and pepper hints that add a distinguishing character. The barrel notes are elegantly expressed with the coffee and graphite. All of these are perfectly integrated and balanced.
The presence of the fruit is remarkable thanks to the lively acidity, allowing notes of blackberries, cassis and figs to flourish. The tannins are strong but thanks to the barrel aging they end being round and long. The end palate is complex with flavors of the barrels like brown sugar and spices. |
