Winemaker's Notes

Blend: 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot

A classic Bordeaux-style winemaking protocol enhances the aromatics of earth, coconut, blackberry, and slight mint in this red blend. Fruit and oak are perfectly balanced to yield a very complex chocolate-cherry- blackberry lingering finish. This is a soft yet powerful, complex wine.

According to the label, this is made from hand-picked grapes, and there were 6000 cases bottled. I'm definitely getting more - this is a jewel! It hits the nose well, absolutely caresses the lips, and brings a subtle blend of flavors to the tongue that lingers. There's a complexity that's not normally found at this price point. To be honest, I'm not sure why I'm sharing this review - I don't really want anyone else to go buy this...I want all the bottles that are left for myself!! :)
