The Gutierrez Colosía Bodegas are heirs to a long viticulture tradition. Since 1838, the shores of the Guadalete River have been faithful spectators to the loving care given the wines. The bodegas (or wine cellars) maintain a high level of activity all year round. The receiving of new wines from freshly pressed grapes, the ageing to maturity in a system of "soleras" with strict controls, and the preparation of the wines for market keep the bodegas alive at all times. A visit to these wine "cathedrals" is an unforgettable experience which helps us to know and appreciate this gift to the senses known as Sherry.
