Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

The exclusive presence of this variety epitomises the concept of producing a cava that combines an elegant and distinguished air with freshness and vigour. A cava that can be regarded as different, unique and authentic. A new cava, brimming with personality and an incomparable flavour that will be appreciated by discerning palates.

Critical Acclaim

"The Non-Vintage Codorniu Pinot Noir comes entirely from a single vintage. Cherry blossom and strawberry aromas lead to a spicy, savory dry sparkling wine that will pair nicely with jamon."
