The 1999 Sonoma County Zinfandel has wonderful aromas of raspberry and vanilla. Rich and full-bodied this wine shows forward fruit flavors of jammy blackberry that is followed by hints of vanilla, black pepper, smoky cherry, coffee and toasty oak characters. The tannins are soft and round leading to a silky mouthfeel and a long lingering finish.
