Fruity & Smooth
Oaky, somewhat buttery initial aromas that quickly give way to apple and pear components. Smooth fruity flavors (mostly apple and pear) with some vanilla oak in the background. A hint of butterscotch emerges in the aromas and flavors as the wine warms from refrigerator temperature on the first day. On the second day, aromas show a bit of a citrus component in addition to apple and pear components; otherwise, very similar to the first day. A Chardonnay that can be served well chilled. Surprisingly consistent in aromas and flavors from refrigerator temperature to cellar temperature. Medium bodied with a crisp, slightly tart, and somewhat oaky finish. A good food wine as well as a good wine for sipping by itself.
