Wine production at St. Chinian dates back to 1623. It was then that the current cave operators' great grandmother Germaine Guiot, at the head of the Bagatelle domain, fell in love with the aromatic Muscat that combines elegance, finesse, and equilibrium. Who else, but a woman, could appreciate and show the value of this delicate brew. Years later, her descendants, Marie-Françoise and Henry created a wine making cave on the St. Jean de Minervois territory and developed the production of this delectable Muscat.
