Critical Acclaim

"Bright ruby-red. Spicy raspberry, cherry and a whiff of pepper on the nose. Smooth and rather densely packed in the middle, with good ripeness and stuffing. The tannins and acids are a bit youthfully edgy but this wine avoids the dip in the middle shown by so many Pessac-Leognan examples this year. Range: 86-89"
