Winemaker's Notes

Les Clans is the first of the higher end cuvees and marks a major departure in the flight as well as the way Rose typically tastes. This uniquely delicious wine drinks like a high end Burgundian white wine with a buttery and minerally finish.

Critical Acclaim

"A little more bronze-colored. This shows cream, peach and apples with a full body, roundness and a long finish. Grenache, Rolle, Tibouren, Cinsault and Syrah."
93 Points

"Intense and well-structured, with some tannic power behind the vibrant, creamy flavors of cherry, blackberry and wild plum. Ginger and smoke notes linger into the long, rich finish. Very distinctive. "
92 Points

"Light orange. Explosive bouquet of candied citrus fruits, raspberry, rhubarb and fresh flowers, with a hint of vanilla in the background. Smooth and fleshy on the palate, offering intense red berry preserve and floral flavors braced by zesty acidity. The lively, precise finish clings with serious, spicy tenacity."
92 Points
