A superb handcrafted wine of complexity and intensity. Brilliant ruby red in color, the bouquet displays enticing aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco, green tea and mint. The palate is rich and concentrated while the elegant French oak gives a 'subtle lift' to the wine. Soft supple tannins add to the texture and weight, and the long, lingering finish. This wine will age gracefully for 10 years plus.
"Perfectly fits theprototypical Barossa style of Cabernet, displaying ripe cassis and chocolate notes framed by ample oak. It's mouthfilling and round, with no hard edges and a long, mint-tinged finish."
"Opaque ruby. Candied cherry, vanilla and pipe tobacco on the perfumed nose. Expansive cherry and dark berry flavors show very good depth and energy, picking up spiciness with air. Supple tannins add shape to the long, juicy, velvety finish. This drinks very well right now but has the stuffing to age.
