Winemaker's Notes

The Indian Wells Cabernet is our warm climate ripe, jammy "New World" style of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine really typifies the Wahluke Slope region with up front, dark fruit aromas and flavors with hints of vanilla. Vineyards in the area are more than a decade old now and showing character and complexity.

Critical Acclaim

"Polished, round and generous, offering a plush mouthful of blackberry, cherry and mint flavors that ride easily over fine tannins through the long, expressive finish. Drink now through 2015."

Yummy, fruit forward, jammy Washington State Cab. Lots of dark fruit and a hint of vanilla - great finish - found 3 bottles locally - recommended!

A balanced and bold taste overall. Signature cab flavor of salty dried plum shows up slightly later among cherry, black berry, and jam. Good bang for the buck. It's probably the cheapest American Cab on wine.com that deserves a solid 90 points.

Very good value. Very dark and Jammy to start and a lot of fruit... and that's the style I like. Good balance and made to be a New-World crowd pleaser.

I love the wines from Columbia Valley..especially Cabs and Chardonnays. This is one of my favorite every day Cabs and I particularly enjoyed this vintage. Smells like luscious red fruit, medium-bodied with seamless tannins; Smooth on the palate with raspberry, cherry and a hint of tobacco; Good with and without food. Really great wine at a great price.

Fruit forward with a hint of vanilla. A nice easy drinker that does not break the budget. There is an initial sweetness but this decreases as the wine breaths. Opens up nicely after 10 to 15 minutes. A nice everyday wine. I will buy more.
