Winemaker's Notes

We craft the Ethos Cabernet to showcase the power and richness of Washington fruit combined with Old World elegance. A majority of the fruit comes from our 40-year-old Cold Creek Vineyard which provides the wine’s power and structure. This is the most complex of our Cabernets and offers layers of ripe blueberry fruit with silky tannins.

Critical Acclaim

"Slightly more serious, with fabulous plum, black currant, licorice, new leather and ground herbs, the 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Ethos is full-bodied, pure, layered and balanced. It too will have a decade of longevity, if not more. Chateau Ste Michelle continues to release high-quality wines that, in most cases, represent superb values. All of these 2011s and 2012s are noteworthy "
