Premium grapes were selected from the finest vineyards in the Alexander Valley, Knights Valley, Sonoma Valley and Russian River Valley. This wine consists of Merlot (82%) blended with Cabernet Sauvignon (11%),
Malbec (5%) and Petit Verdot (2%). Each component was aged separately for 12 months in French and American oak before blending.
Here is a merlot that excites…. full of vivid fruit flavors, it evidences satisfying depth and nuanced subtlety. Delicious now, it will be even better (because more complex) with a year or two of bottled age.
