Non-Vintage Sparkling Wine from Loire, France
Cremant de Loire is the oldest appellation in the Loire from Nantes to Nevers. It's a blend of 50% Chenin Blanc and 50% Chardonnay sourced in uncle estate. It an interesting experience as sparkiling wines for people who want to have a fine and elegant wine comparable to Champagne for a very good price. Serve chilly around 8°C for aperitif, dessert, cocktail party and brunch.

Chateau Gaudrelle Winery
The Gaudrelle Castle, located on the Appellation d'Origine Controlee Vouvray, is a 20-hectare estate founded in the seventeenth century. It was then the property of a rich silk of Tours (the manufacture of silk and silk were the two greatest jewels of the local industry).
The Gaudrelle is originally a manor of the seventeenth century, consisting of a tall building with a ground floor and an attic lit by skylights stone at noon. Not far from the manor is the troglodyte chapel (completely dug in the rock). Its Greek cross plan includes a vaulted nave and transept as well as an apse in the cul-de-four. The rock covering the crossing of the transept has been hollowed out and this crossing is dominated by a square bell-tower, covered with a pyramidal roof, and which emerges above the hill.
A provost also existed in the twelfth century at Gaudrelle. It constituted a dignity and a benefit depending on the Collegiale Saint-Martin of Tours.
It is owned by the family since 1931 and Monmousseau under went two expansions, one in 1974 and one in 2004. Today, Alexandre Monmousseau is the grower and producer. View all Chateau Gaudrelle Wines

To the east is Touraine, where you'll find the popular white region of Vouvray - Chenin Blanc shines in Vouvray, which can be dry, off-dry or sweet – the majority of those found in the states are a lovely and food-friendly off-dry. In the same district, Cabernet Franc makes delicious, delicate and elegant reds from Bourguil and Chinon. Finally, in the Upper Loire area, Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé turn out Sauvignon Blancs of razor sharp acidity and minerality.

The top regions of France are: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Languedoc-Roussillon, Loire, Rhone. And these regions are so diverse! It makes sense that wine regions throughout the world try to emulate their style. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are no longer French varieties, but international varieties. They may not be the leader of cutting edge technology or value-priced wines, but there is no doubt that they are still producing wines of great quality and diversity.
