Winemaker Notes
It is a wine with expressive fruit, an opulent nose of red berries, roundness on the palate, with good length and a harmonious and elegant finish. Chateau Pipeau is very delightful when young but it also has all the qualities for laying-down of a really great Saint-Emilion.

Shows black licorice, black pepper and berries on the nose. Full-bodied, with a solid core of fruit and ripe, chewy tannins, but in balance. This has very stylish flavors. Should be nice to drink soon. Always excellent value. Best after 2012. 11,665 cases made.
