Winemaker's Notes:

 The 2010 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir has notes of blueberry, red earth, and nutmeg spice with hints of violet, toffee and oolong tea. It has a silky and generous entry, slate-like minerality, and muscular tannin on the finish – a testament to high altitude winegrowing.

The features of the valley are a Mecca for the cultivation of Pinot: here one finds daily, cooling maritime inuence, dramatic geological contours with high mountains on either side of the valley, rocky soils and a mix of classic California flora and trees.
