Winemaker's Notes:

Number 100 on the Wine.com 100 of 2007!

Blend: 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon, 10% Muscadelle

This is a delightfully fresh and lively wine. It displays lovely aromas of citrus and floral notes. It holds lots of weight and complexity in the mouth yet remains light and youthful. A fantastic white Bordeaux, there aren't many!

Château Brondelle is located 2 km south of Langon and 50 km southeast of Bordeaux in the Graves region of Bordeaux, so named for the famous gravel soils that produce lovely, mineral, white wines.

My Notes:

About Château Brondelle:

Château Brondelle is located 2 km south of Langon and 50 km southeast of Bordeaux in the Graves region of Bordeaux, so named for the famous gravel soils that produce lovely, mineral, white wines. This 62 acre estate has been in the same family since the end of the 19th century and its wines were noted as early as 1929. Since 1968, this property has been completely replanted and the present owner, Jean-Noel Belloc, is creating an outstanding wine that express fully the potential of the terroir.
