The bouquet features bramble berry, black cherry and hints of tobacco and black pepper. On the palate, the texture is soft and approachable with flavors of black cherry, raspberry and licorice. The wine offers a lingering finish of cherry and spice with nuances of cedar and graham cracker. The ripe berry and cherry flavors of the wine suggest the creation of a similarly flavored sauce or glaze for roasted or grilled beef or lamb.
