Winemaker's Notes

The 2006 Catena Alta Chardonnay has a bright greenish - yellow color. The nose shows an excellent mixture of citrus fruit interwoven with honeyed tropical fruit notes and floral tones. The mouthfeel is rich and concentrated showing ripe pear, apple and apricot flavors with alight note of sweet nutmeg spice. The finish shows bright, clean acidity and wonderful length.

"The nose reveals pain grille, baking spices, floral notes, baked apple and tropical fruits. This leads to a layered wine with a creamy texture, ripe, complex flavors and a lengthy finish." 93 Points,
Wine Advocate

Yet it's hard not to get caught up in the wine market of the world and some...
