No wimp this wine, it is tightly structured with good fruit flavors nicely enhanced by the use of French oak in aging. Often Washington State Merlot can be a bit rough compared to its cousins from the big California, the upside however, is the fresher fruit flavors from the cooler climate of the Columbia Valley.
