Medium-dark to dark ruby-purple. Alluring aromas of raspberry, citrus, cherry pit, and fraises des bois. On the palate, full-bodied but amazingly precise and focused with flavors of cherry, pomegranate, and marzipan. There's both balance and intensity here that can only come from old vines carefully farmed. Ample acidity in the finish dictates this wine will age well. Drink from release through 2018.
