The 2007 is our most concentrated Julia's Pinot Noir in more than a decade. The color is dark purple with little of the brick hues that we often see in Pinot. The nose is generous, ripe, earthy, spicy and exotic. The palate is round, sensual and balanced by fine acidity and soft tannins.
I must admit, I went with this one because of the rating. I dont believe it should have ever got a 90 point rating at any time. It tastes as if it was opened for days on end. It was way to acidic. However, it did get a little better after breathing for an hour or so. But, def not for me!
