Winemaker's Notes

This magnificent wine has truly earned the coveted title of "Superiore." Crafted from only the very best Barbera grapes and pressed in low bins, it was attentively vinified from beginning to end. After soaking in the skins for an additional two weeks, the juice was aged for a year in oak barriques. Finally, a controlled refinement was insisted in the bottles before releasing the wine for sale.

The result? Glorious structure and delicacy! The shimmering ruby red color and deep garnet shades show beautifully in the glass. You'll love the intense notes of mature red fruits and berries and the full, round, well-balanced body. It's warm and harmonious, and offers a very long finish. With its big, noble tannins, it's the perfect complement to all your favorite red meats.
