Brass Tacks Cabernet Sauvignon. Had this with grilled tri-tip steak. Fairly fruit-forward with ripe, juicy black currant and black cherry, some cedar and tobacco notes, a medium-full body and enough oak on the finish to match well with the grilled steak. Nice wine and drinking well now.
Amazing for a $15 cab. Worth the list of $20. Glad it is back in stock! Found it better than Chateau St. Michelle's 2008 Indian Wells.
Love the cherry nose! This wine tastes of nice ripe fruit. Has flavors of blackberry and plum with a bit of chocolate and leather, too. Lots of finesse finishing with soft tannins. A lot of wine for the price. Really good QPR.
