winemaker's notes:
Spicy, medium-bodied Chianti with classic dried Tuscan cherry, cracked pepper and intense floral aromas reminiscent of rosewater and violets. Well structured with a focused and persistent finish.
All of the grapes are hand picked from estate vineyards grown on limestone and clay soils. Each vine is selectively picked more than once to ensure the all of the grapes are optimally ripened. The vineyards are all situated around the Sonnino castle and have South and South East exposure.
85% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo, 5% Trebbiano and Malvasia
Will pair well with Rosemary-infused white beans with grilled pork chops, polenta
casserole, pasta in tomato sauce and gourmet pizzas.

I don't have many to compare to since I just started tasting wine, however this one is pretty smooth and I will definetely keep a bottle or two in my cabinet.
