Bolla Pinot Grigio 1998
Pinot Gris/Grigio from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy
Pinot Grigio has the fresh, summer fruit flavors of peaches and limes, with a taste that is soft, generous and well-balanced. Light bodied, this wine is a classic accompaniment to fish dishes as well as salads, soups and lighter red-sauced pastas.
When Abele Bolla opened up Al Gambero Inn in the northern Italian town of Soave over 100 years ago, no one could have guessed that the favorite pastime of winemaking would continue for four generations. Today, the spirit of the Bolla family lives on in the carefully crafted wines we bring to your table. View all Bolla Wines

Alcohol By Volume GuideMost wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.
