Bodegas y Viñedos Ilurce is a family company founded by Grandfather Amador Escudero in 1940, after the Spanish Civil War. The most characteristic thing about this company is the hard work of its owners:
Amador Escudero: Agriculturist engineer and farmer. He takes care of the vineyard, where he spends most of his time, although during the harvest he works mostly in the cellar (he does the punch down, pump power, racking and pressing).
Inmaculada Escudero has a degree in Economics and is export manager of the company. She uses to work mainly in the office, taking care of the economic aspects of the business. Ana Escudero, with a degree in Chemistry, used to work as a proffessor at the University of Zaragoza, but in this company she is the main winemaker.
