Winemaker's Notes

Varieties: 50% Tempranillo; 50% Malbec

Critical Acclaim

"The 2008 Tempranillo (50%)-Malbec (50%) has an intriguing bouquet of blackberry, blueberry, violets, and ground coffee. Ripe, layered, and sweetly-fruited, this flavorful wine over delivers in a big way. Drink it over the next 5 years. "

I would have given it 5 stars, but...fabulous blend of 50-50 Malbec&Tempranillo. Great nose, great legs, great taste. May get even better with a yearish sleeping, but who cares. Best under 12 buck red I've had in a long time, imo.
