Winemaker's Notes

#71 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2011

Green tinged color with nacreous glints, freshly attractive to the eye. It possesses an excellent and powerful bouquet. It is deep, elegant and reminiscent to fruit tree. On the palate it is light, soft and pleasant. The sharp and sweet touch of this wine makes it very personal and balanced, with a marked structure.

This wine can be enjoyed with seafood, fish, low seasoned meat, mushrooms and mild cheeses.

Critical Acclaim

"Greenish gold. Pungent citrus pith and quinine aromas are brightened by incisive minerality. Vibrant lemon and lime flavors are pleasingly taut and focused, gaining heft with air and taking on a deeper pear quality. Smoothly balances bright citrus and orchard fruit qualities and finishes with impressive clarity and persistence. "
91 Points

"This nervy white shows cracking acidity that carries focused flavors of mineral, grapefruit and fresh herbs. A bit austere, but bracing and balanced. A fine complement to food. Drink now. 1,500 cases imported.
Smart Buy"
