Bodegas El Indiano

Brozal (red) is a single vineyard wine made by Bodegas Indiano in the DO of Rioja (town of El Villar). It is located within the Alavesa subzone of Rioja. El Brozal is one of the few single vineyard wines made in Rioja Alavesa. El Brozal sings with clarity the music of this specific area. The accent of black crush pepper spice, its structure and intense silky fruit makes Brozal not only an incredible Rioja jewel, but also a wine that speaks the language of a specific vineyard that delivers flavors that other neighboring vineyards do not communicate. El Brozal is a joint proyect of Michael Quinlan, Alberto Orte, Patrick Mata and David Sampedro. The small 3.2 acre vineyard sets the limit to a yearly production of 700 to 900 cases of 6 bottles. The history of this vineyard dates back to Roman times.
