Winemaker's Notes:

A full mouth of fruit that is sweet, round and complex which is supported by nice acidity and supple ripe tannins, this Cabernet Sauvignon highlights Knights Valley's characteristically bright cherry fruit and sweet vanilla oak and pie spice aromas.

"Cabernet Sauvignon is one of Beringer's strengths, and their regular 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon from Knight's Valley shows a deep ruby/purple color, wonderful, straightforward licorice-infused black currant fruit with a hint of smoke and barrel. The wine has outstanding purity, depth, and ripeness in an open-knit, fruit-driven but deep style. This is an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon that should drink well for 10-12 years." - Robert Parker Jr.
