Elegant, yet full-bodied, our 2005 Reserve draws its complexity from the blending of firm, structured Cabernet and rich, supple Merlot. The aromas are reminiscent of violet, chocolate, leather and tobacco. In the mouth there are layered flavors of dark berry, tart cherry and a slight earthiness. This wine has a sweet, soft entry; solid mid palate and lengthy finish. The Cabernet's round tannins give the wine a silky mouthfeel and excellent aging potential. Drink now or cellar for eight to 10 years.
