AR Guentota is "Cuyo's soul" in the language of the Huarpes Indians, the first inhabitants of Mendoza river valley's Cuyo region. This wine is lush, with juicy dark berry, plum and raisin flavors alongside deep toast and spice notes. Aged 12 months in new French oak barrels.
"Saturated medium ruby. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry and bitter chocolate, with a bit of porty superripeness as well as a mineral touch. Fat, sweet and concentrated, with very primary flavors of black cherry, blackberry, licorice and menthol. Plenty of texture but not at all overly sweet on the slightly clenched back end. I'd hold off drinking this for at least 12 to 18 months.
