Fine deep ruby color. The very true varietal Merlot aromas of blackberry, herbs, cedar and mocha are highlighted by just enough toasty new oak to add subtle, smoky nuances. Medium full bodied, the flavors reveal moderately intense cherry fruit, some licorice and coffee, and a hint of herbs or anise in the finish.
