Ripe tropical fruit abounds in the 1998 vintage. Full, rich fruit and supple, the flavors linger to a smoky sweet oak finish.
The Mt. Eden clone of Chardonnay lends itself well to the cool, marine influenced, climate of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Firm natural acidity gives the wine structure to allow for cellaring. This vintage is one of the best to come from Regan Vineyards and the wine is expected to age gracefully for three to five years.
