Winemaker's Notes:

 Quite plush in texture, with attractive, ripe plum, wild berry, cherry and anise-laced flavors, holding a tight focus on the finish. Turns a touch dry, but overall quite complete.--1989 California Cabernet retrospective. Drink now through 2005. (4000 cases produced)
