Wine Style Guide

Light & Fruity

Red wines that are more fruit-forward and lighter in tannin and body.

Smooth & Supple

Medium bodied reds that go down easy, with smooth tannins and supple fruit.

Earthy & Spicy

Wines where earthy and/or spicy dominate the flavors – typically medium to full body.

Big & Bold

Full bodied wines that have concentrated fruit and are higher in alcohol and/or tannins. Some need age.

Winemaker's Notes

The 2010 Arnold Palmer Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of almonds and plump dark cherries. The flavors of the wine hint of mocha and spiced chai tea while filling the mouth with raspberry candy, dark chocolate, and espresso. The finish has elements of dark fruit, integrated with an elegant and rounded tannin structure.

This trio was purchased as a birthday gift for a good friend who is both a wine expert and a golfer. The package arrived safely, and was presented well. We did not get to sample the wines yet, but our friend was very happy with the gift

Was very good and exceeded my expectations, the base of this wine is excellent great taste of the berries, not a lot of tanins or spicyness to it, finishes excellent.
