The color is bright garnet! The aroma is a wonderful red cherry and cranberry fruit, chocolate spice, and a neat earth "Jory soil after a fall rainstorm"-like hint. The flavor is bright, complex, and fun. Look for red fruit of cherry and cranberry, cobbled mineral, Siskiyou forest floor, and black pepper spice. The red fruit fills and carries throughout the palate in a mouthwatering sweet centered finish!
"The 2007 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is medium ruby-colored with an enticing bouquet of toast, cinnamon, rose petal, cherry, and cranberry. Sweet and seamless on the palate, this elegant effort has a bit of structure, excellent concentration, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. Drink it over the next 6 years.
The Wine Advocate
very typical of Orgeon Pinot, cherry fruit, a little spice and light to medium bodied. this wine is consistently good year after year. and when it's on sale, it's a no brainer. if you can spend more, their higher end Pinot's are wonderful!
leathery bitterness overpowers this wine. Slow drinking and a meal is required. Great with a streak. Overpriced considering its lack of complexity. 7.5 out of 10
