Color: Dark, rich red
Aroma: Plum and ripe raspberry with a hint of rose petal
Taste: The flavors are a viscous blend of ripe black
cherry and plum nectar, centered with pleats of
spiciness. A juicy cherry pie finish coats the
tongue with Argyle's characteristic "silky" texture.
I enjoyed this wine at Morton's in Baltimore on New Year's Eve 2007. They charged $54 for it, but even at that price I loved every drop of it. Grab 3 or 4 bottles of this and drink with a nice NY strip.
