Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

Winemaker's Notes

Dark ruby color accentuates the layered aromas and flavors of black cherry, cassis, and plum, with undertones of currants, licorice and spice. A concentrated mouthful of rich, ripe fruit give this wine a weighty yet elegant feel, culminating in Anomaly's signature lasting, velvety finish.

Blend: 96% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petite Verdot

Critical Acclaim

"Sweet well-defined curranty fruit sits at the center of this well-polished opus while generous oak brings augmented richness to all of its parts."
